Koulourakia (pronounced ku-LU-ra-KIA) are crispy on the outside, but tender on the inside. These cookies are buttery with fresh Vanilla Extract, and have a hint of fresh orange essence. This delicious Greek cookie treat is a traditional Easter staple and known as Greek Easter Cookies. Nonetheless their seriously addictive nature makes them a year round favorite. The Artisan Levant Koulourakia traditionally have an egg glaze and are topped with a sprinkling of sesame seeds or are available plain.
